Password Anvil (passwordanvil.com) is operated by QRCat, LLC, a Washington limited liability company ("we", "us"). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
Using the site
The site is free to use for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. Please don't try to disrupt it, overload it with automated requests, get around its security, or use it for anything unlawful.
Your passwords are your responsibility
Passwords, passphrases and PINs are generated in your browser and never sent to us, so we can't see, store or recover them. Keeping them safe, such as in a password manager, is up to you. We use your browser's cryptographically secure random number generator and work to make the generator sound, but we can't guarantee that any password will keep an account secure, and the site's guides are general information, not professional security advice.
No warranty
The site and everything on it are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that the site will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose. We work to keep it correct, but you use it at your own risk.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, QRCat, LLC and its members, employees and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of money, data, savings or opportunity, arising from your use of the site or from decisions you make based on it, even if we were told such loss was possible. Because the site is free, our total liability for any claim relating to it is limited to $100. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, so they apply to you only as far as your local law permits.
Links and outside information
The site links to and uses information from other organizations. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, accuracy or practices.
Ownership
The site's text, design and code are © QRCat, LLC, except where material from others is credited under its own license.
Changes
We may update these terms. Changes take effect when posted here, with the date above updated; continuing to use the site means you accept them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Washington, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
